A security source told the daily when the victim discovered the theft of her card, she filed a complaint with the Farwaniya Police Station. When she contacted the bank she was shocked to find the suspect had already made purchases worth KD 890.
The woman then requested the bank to stop further use of the card and checked the details from the bank from where the purchases were made.
She then handed over this information to the police station and the security officers requested to see the CCTV footage to identify the user of the card.
However, the footage was of little help because the woman in the picture could not be identified because she was wearing dark glasses and a head cover while making the purchases.
