Nov 10 event to include fireworks, lit kites, flying falcons Amiri Diwan holds grand carnival to mark 50th Constitution Day

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 6: To celebrate Kuwait’s 50th Constitution Day, the Amiri Diwan will be holding a grand carnival on the Gulf Road, showcasing a day of fireworks and activity for families to enjoy and celebrate together on Saturday, Nov 10.

The show will take place starting at the Ruby Tuesday’s/Kuwait Towers point and will end at the Green Island, with 9 phases of the carnival.

Five canvases will be the basis of the show, each one reflecting the values behind the day and the celebration.

The day will include fireworks, lit kites, flying falcons, floating creatures, airplane shows and heliosphere acrobats, amongst other attractions. Families are encouraged to go with their young ones to enjoy the show.

The first phase of the celebration will take place between Ruby Tuesday’s, Aqua Park, Kuwait Towers and Fish Market, while the second will be around Chili’s and the beach area. The third will be at the Le Notre, Abdel Wahab and AppleBee’s area, the fourth around the Officer’s Club and Nino’s and the fifth by KFC. The sixth zone will be at TGI Friday’s, and the seventh between TGI Friday’s and Lebanese Restaurant, whilst the seventh will continue from there to Green Island, and the ninth and final phase will be at the Green Island.

Over 420 tons of steel were used to prepare for the celebration and show, and it is said that this will be the biggest celebration yet in Kuwait. The celebration will take place from 3 pm to 10 pm on Saturday.
