KUWAIT CITY, Oct 10: An unidentified Indonesian housemaid died inside the Jahra Hospital after suffering for 18 months, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
According to reliable sources the victim was brutally beaten by the son of her Saudi sponsor and since then had been admitted to the hospital.
The daily added at the time of the incident the concerned authorities paid no attention to the case and even allowed the suspect to leave the country.

Maid attempts suicide: An unidentified 26-year-old Asian housemaid who tried in vain to end her life by jumping from the first floor of her sponsor’s home in Al-Dhaher has been admitted to a hospital with fractures on her body, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
Police are investigating why the woman wanted to end her life.

SUV thieves held: Police have arrested a bedoun juvenile and are looking for two Kuwaitis for stealing a 4-wheel drive which was parked in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The arrest came following a complaint filed by the owner of the vehicle and intensified efforts by the police helped them spot the suspects driving the vehicle at an unidentified location.
When police ordered the suspects to pull over, the Kuwaitis managed to escape.
