Filipina left to die after ‘torturous’ rape by gang Woman held for drug trafficking

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 2: An unidentified Filipina woman was kidnapped, tortured and raped multiple times by unknown individuals recently, after which she was dumped on King Fahad Expressway opposite Kuwait International Fairs Ground, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to security sources, while police officers were patrolling the area, they found the victim lying unconscious by the road.
They checked and discovered that she was still alive but in a miserable state. They immediately rushed her to Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital where she was admitted in the Intensive Care Unit.
Securitymen are waiting for the revival of the victim’s health to start the investigations.

Woman held for drug trafficking : An Asian woman was recently arrested for possession and trafficking of drugs.
According to a press statement issued by Ministry of Interior, when Directorate General for Drug Control received information about an Asian woman involved in drug trafficking, a team was formed for investigations.
After confirming the information, they took legal measures to detain the suspect. They rushed to her apartment and arrested the suspect. They checked her apartment and found inside her bedroom a bag filled with 12 medium-sized packs of drugs suspected to be ‘heroin’ which weighed approximately 1.5 kilograms.
During interrogations, she admitted that the drugs belonged to her which was planning to sell.
She was referred with the drugs to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against her.


Forged passport: A Bedoun was arrested recently for buying a forged Greek passport from an Egyptian expatriate for KD 600, reports Al-Shahed daily.
Reportedly, when the Embassy of Greece in Kuwait addressed Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kuwait about a forged passport with a Bedoun, securitymen rushed to the suspect’s residence and arrested him.
During interrogations, the suspect revealed that he had bought the passport for KD 600 from an Egyptian expatriate but he was unaware that it was forged.
A case was registered and investigations are ongoing to arrest the Egyptian suspect.

Royal abused: Police are on the lookout for an unidentified individual who abused a member of the royal family in the suburb of Abdullah Al-Salem, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to security sources, the victim informed securitymen that an argument erupted between him and a motorist on one of the streets in Sabah Al-Salem.
He explained that the motorist jumped out of his vehicle and approached him. He verbally abused him, made a bad gesture and jumped back into his vehicle. The suspect revealed his name when the victim asked for it, after which he jumped into his vehicle and sped away.
A case was registered and investigations are ongoing to find and arrest the suspect.

Cellphones stolen: Police are looking for an unknown individual who broke into a mobile shop in Jahra and stole several expensive cellphones, reports Al-Rai daily.
When the Operations Room of Interior Ministry received information about the burglary, securitymen and officers from General Department of Criminal Evidences rushed to the location.
The officers collected evidences and lifted fingerprints to identify the suspect.
A case was registered and investigations are ongoing.
