Bangladeshi caught trying to enter with forged passport
KUWAIT CITY, Feb 22: Officers at the Kuwait International Airport recently foiled an attempt by a Bangladeshi man to enter Kuwait on forged passport, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to security sources the suspect was carrying the passport of a Sri Lankan man who had been deported from the country several years ago.
The airport security sources said the Bangladeshi has been returned to the country of origin on the same aircraft.
A police source said the new fingerprints system which has been introduced at the airport has proved vastly effective.
Man arrested: Police have arrested a Kuwaiti man who was wanted by law for humiliating a traffic policeman in Farwaniya, spitting in his face and attempting to run him over before escaping, reports Al-Rai daily.
The incident happened while the policeman was organizing traffic and reportedly ordered the suspect to pull over for violating traffic law and demanded to see his driving license and Civil ID.
According to security sources when police were informed about his whereabouts, they set a trap for him and took him into custody before entering the Diwaniya of his neighbor and referred him to the authorities.
