KUWAIT CITY, Feb 22: Acting on information and armed with a search and arrest warrant issued by the Public Prosecution, police raided a number of vice dens in Khaitan and arrested eight Asian women for indulging in illegal activities and a pimp and referred them to the authorities, reports Al-Rai daily.
However, during interrogation all the women claimed they were ‘kidnapped’ by roaming taxi drivers and sold to pimps who later forced them into prostitution against their wish.
 

‘Money changer’ held: Officers at the Al-Nuwaiseeb border post have arrested an unidentified man for illegally changing currency with motorists arriving and leaving the country, reports Al-Shahed daily.
The money exchanger has been referred to the authorities prior to his deportation from the country.
