Bootleggers held - Woman harassed
KUWAIT CITY, Feb 22: Police have arrested two Asians for bootlegging and seized from them 100 polyethylene bags filled with the locally-manufactures booze.
The bootleggers were arrested on suspicion while driving in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh. The booze and the suspects have been referred to the concerned authorities.
Woman harassed: An unidentified young woman has filed a case with the Ahmadi Police Station accusing a youth of harassing her.
In her complaint the woman said the youth kept calling her and refused to listen to reason. He is also said to have sent her unpleasant messages.
The woman has handed over to the police the messages and the suspect’s phone number.
He has been summoned for interrogation.
Policeman hit: Police have arrested three unidentified persons for knocking down a security man in Faiha.
According to security sources the suspects tried in vain to escape after committing the accident but they were chased and arrested by the police.
They have been referred to the concerned authority. The victim has been taken to the Amiri Hospital.
Cash stolen: A Kuwaiti man whose identity has not been disclosed has filed a complaint with the Surra police accusing an unidentified person of breaking into his vehicle and stealing KD 200 and official documents.
Personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department have lifted fingerprints to identify the thief.
Missing rental: The owner of a car renting office has filed a complaint with the police accusing an unidentified young woman of failing to return the car she had rented on the promised date.
Police are looking for the woman and the car.
