Court jails Kuwaiti citizen found with 3 Moroccan women
KUWAIT CITY, Feb 21: Moroccan Primary Court sentenced a Kuwaiti citizen along with other accused GCC nationals to one-month imprisonment on Monday.
The court also fined three female Moroccans 5000 Moroccan dirhams each, based on the accusation of debauchery and consuming alcohol publicly.
The Moroccan authorities arrested the suspects in a rented apartment owned by an Italian citizen who was acquitted by the court.
A Moroccan local newspaper reported it is the first in the kingdom’s history to convict a GCC citizen along with the three females since the norm is to convict only the females and release the GCC nationals.
