Syrian expats face problems

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 10: The storming of the Syrian Embassy is a crisis that brews crisis because of the problems that emerged from the legal procedures taken against the protesters, reports Al-Qabas daily quoting sources.
Sources revealed the embassy has now become a mission without an ambassador due to the decision taken recently by Kuwait and other GCC countries to expel the Syrian envoys. Sources said the embassy has no stamps, computers, passport renewal equipment and machines for the authentication of certificates and other documents. Sources pointed out the situation has caused serious headache to numerous Syrian residents in the country because they have no means to renew visas and passports. “What is the solution to the complicated problems? The required period for the replacement of the damaged materials is not less than 45 days,” the sources added.
