Prawn pickle
Ingredients:
- 1 kg medium size fresh prawns;
- 100 g red chili powder;
- 5 tsp lemon juice;
- 2 to 3 tsp vinegar;
- 2 tsp amchur powder;
- 100g ginger paste;
- 2 tsp garlic powder;
- 2 tsp mustard powder;
- oil and salt as per taste.
Method:
Devein and clean the prawns. Cook the prawns with salt for 15 to 20 minutes. Now add chili powder, amchur powder, garlic powder, ginger paste and let the mixture boil. Take some oil in a separate vessel and boil for 5 minutes. Keep aside till it cools and add to the prawn mixture. Pour the entire mixture in a bottle use the pickle after 3 days.
