KUWAIT CITY, Feb 8: An individual was shot and injured in the shoulder as two factions belonging to the same family engaged in a quarrel at Andalous using firearms.
A vehicle is also said to have been damaged by bullets in the course of the fight.
Acting on information, high ranking security officials accompanied paramedics and other officers to the location to maintain order, and the injured person was referred to Jahra Hospital for treatment.
Sources said a member of the feuding party surrendered to police, while the others were arrested. A case has since been registered for investigation.

Friend reported: A youth has filed a complaint in police station against his friend accusing him of registering several mobile phone connections in his name without his knowledge. This was brought to his notice when the mobile company registered several cases against him due to delay in the payments.

Asian held with drugs: Securitymen have arrested an Asian working at a ministry for possession of drugs. They referred the suspect to the authorities to take the necessary legal action against him.

2 severely injured in fight: A GCC national and an Arab were severely wounded after engaging in a quarrel in Farwaniya. Authorities and paramedics rushed to the scene after the information was received at the Ministry of Interior. They have been referred to the Farwaniya Hospital and investigations are being carried out by the authorities to find the cause of the fight.
