Blonde brownies
Ingredients:
- 1/3 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Method:
Melt butter, stir in sugar, eggs and vanilla. Add flour, baking powder and salt to the butter mixture and blend well. Stir in nuts and chocolate chips.
Pour into a greased 9 inch square pan. Bake at 350 degrees F. for about 30 minutes, until the top springs back when touched lightly. Cool.
