I wanted to ask about paid annual leave as per the new labor law. It says 30 days paid leave excluding official holidays and sick leave. Does that mean Friday is included as an official holiday? A lot of companies don’t think so and continue to include Fridays in the 30 days. Could you please clarify?

Answer: A lot of companies have got it right. The 30 days annual leave is inclusive of weekends. Fridays are not counted as official holidays.
