Man wanted in KD 11,000 fraud case, held with heroin sachets
KUWAIT CITY, Feb 3: The Farwaniya police have arrested an unidentified Kuwaiti man who had been sentenced in absentia and handed him over to the concerned authorities.
The security sources said the man was arrested on suspicion because he looked confused.
While checking his ID police discovered he was wanted by law in connection with a KD 11,000 fraud and was in possession of one finger of hashish and sachets of heroin.
Meanwhile, the police have arrested an unidentified 24-year-old Kuwaiti who was wanted by law for committing criminal offences.
The man was arrested in Kabd while driving in the area. It is believed the man was also under the influence of drugs.
Suicide bid: An unidentified Filipino housemaid has been referred to the Sulaibikhat Police Station for allegedly attempting to jump to her death from the top floor of a residential building in the area.
In his complaint to the police the sponsor told police if he had not to intervene in time the woman would have died from the fall.
Police are interrogating why the woman wanted to end her life.
