Divorced woman and youth caught making love inside a car
KUWAIT CITY, Feb 2: The Rumaithiya police have arrested an unidentified youth and a divorced woman for making love inside a car, reports Al-Rai daily.
The lovers were caught red-handed by a police patrol inside the parking lot of a commercial complex in Salmiya.
They have been handed over to the General Department for Investigation.
MP unaware of plot: Former MP Mohammad Hayef Al-Mutairi was not aware of the assassination plot against him, sources close to Al-Mutairi told Al-Wasat daily, adding he came to know through social networking site Twitter that a Syrian had entered the country to kill him.
Lawyers Khaled Al-Juwaisri and Duwaim Al-Muwaizri had mentioned on their Twitter pages that securitymen arrested a Syrian who came to the country with the intention of killing the former MP.
Stranded man rescued: Coast Guards rescued a Kuwaiti man who was stranded on Failaka Island, reports Al-Rai daily.
The man and his friend went to the island to spend their holiday and while he got down, his friend remained on the boat. Due to bad weather and rains, the boat’s captain suddenly decided to return back to mainland with the crew, forgetting all about the Kuwaiti.
Thieves gang sought: Police are looking for a gang of thieves who stole from 12 cars in Omariya, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily. The same gang is suspected to be involved in 15 car break-in cases that were reported from the same area last Sunday.
Personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department have lifted fingerprints and investigations are going on.
7 stuck in elevator: Firefighters rescued two couples and three children who got stuck in the elevator of their building in Saad Al-Abdullah area, reports Al-Rai daily.
Firefighters had rushed to the building after the owner had called the Operations Room of the Interior Ministry.
