2 shot at each other

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 1: Police are looking for two unidentified persons for allegedly shooting at each other. The incident happened on the Sixth Ring Road, reports Al-Rai daily.
The daily quoting security sources said the search began after a Kuwaiti man called the Operations Department of the Ministry Interior.
The daily gave no other details.

3 held for drugs: Police have arrested an Arab guard of a school in Jahra for inviting friends to consume hashish in his room, reports Al-Mustaqbal daily.
The arrest came when the Operations Department of the Interior Ministry received a call from an unidentified person that three people had sneaked into an elementary school in Taima.
Police rushed to the school and heard voices coming from the room. The daily added the trio managed to escape.
The guard also attempted to run away but he was chased and arrested. Police have seized from his room paper with traces of hashish and tobacco.
Police have also seized a mix of tobacco and hashish.

‘Shut down Sat TV’: Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior Sheikh Ahmad Al-Hmoud has requested the Ministry of Information to shut down one of the controversial Satellite TV Channel for allegedly promoting sedition, reports Al-Shahed daily.
The daily said a committee has been formed and a report is expected to be submitted to the minister soon to take necessary legal measures.

2 people injured: Two people were injured in Abdali. They were reportedly struck by lightning, reports Al-Rai daily.
The victims have been admitted to the Jahra Hospital.
