The activities of Hala February 2012 festival will begin on Saturday, Feb 4th, with a carnival on Salem Al-Mubarak Street in Salmiya, says General Coordinator of the festival Waleed Jassem.
Speaking at a press conference held Tuesday, Jassem said a number of events and competitions will be organized during the festival. “We are trying to improve each year and our aim is to attract people from neighboring countries to Kuwait during this period so that they too can benefit from the sales, prizes and entertaining events,” he added.
Jassem said Kuwait wants everyone, including citizens, residents and visitors to enjoy the activities scheduled to be held as part of the festival. He expected about 100 people to participate daily in the various activities.
