Kuwaiti man wanted in attempted murder arrested from home
KUWAIT CITY, Jan 30: Police have arrested a Kuwaiti man wanted by law for trying to kill a fellow citizen over a month ago following a dispute between them, reports Al-Rai daily.
Sulaibikhat police, armed with a search and arrest warrant, raided the suspect’s house, arrested him and referred him to authorities.
The man had tried to kill a compatriot by running over him due to a dispute over payment of KD 50.
Muslim summoned: For-mer MP and Third Constituency candidate Dr Faisal Al-Muslim was summoned and questioned in Sharq Police Station following a complaint filed by Scope satellite channel, reports Annahar daily
Al-Muslim will be summoned again for questioning in another case filed by a businessman.
Drunkard in hospital: Police are looking for an unidentified Kuwaiti for causing disturbance in Adan Hospital, reports Al-Shahed daily.
The man was under the influence of alcohol and created a scene because the receptionist refused to allow him to see a doctor unless he showed his Civil ID.
The drunkard later had a fight with the pharmacist when the latter refused to give him medicine without prescription. The man had escaped before the arrival of police.
Policeman detained: Salmiya securitymen have arrested a policeman for not paying alimony worth KD 2,400, reports Al-Rai daily.
The policeman was referred to the Sentences Enforcement Department, detained for three days and was released after he paid the money.
