Two Egyptians arrested for drug trading in Farwaniya

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 28: Two Egyptians were arrested for trading in drugs in Farwaniya area, reports Al-Shahed daily.
Police also found hashish and other drugs in the suspects’ possession and referred them to the Directorate-General for Drugs Control (DGDC).

Bad food seized: An inspection team from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry raided a meat shop run by a Syrian man in the Capital governorate and confiscated large quantities of meat and frozen chicken which were unfit for human consumption, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The store was put under surveillance for two weeks and the team, armed with a search and arrest warrant, broke open the door in the presence of police.

2 held drunk:
Police have arrested a Kuwaiti youth and an expatriate woman for consuming alcohol, reports Al-Rai daily.
The couple was traveling in a car in Salmiya and sources say the man’s reckless driving aroused the suspicion of security operatives on routine duty in the area.
Officers smelt alcohol in the couple’s breath and on checking records, realized that the youth had a criminal record and that the woman’s residence had expired. Officers also seized a bottle of alcohol from their car.
