4 youth held with drugs
KUWAIT CITY, Jan 26: Ahmadi securitymen arrested four youths in possession of a large quantity of hashish, reports Al-Anba daily. The youths were caught on King Fahd Motorway and were referred to the Directorate-General for Drugs Control (DGDC). Moreover, securitymen arrested 25 expatriates for violating residence law in Farwaniya area and referred them to authorities.
In a similar incident, police Police have arrested an unidentified person in possession of 500 grams of hashish and 30 narcotic pills in Hawalli area, reports Al-Rai daily.
Police patrols on routine duty had noticed the man’s suspicious behavior and had stopped him for inspection. Officers, on checking records, also realized that the man was wanted for serving a jail term.
He has been referred to authorities for further action.
Liquor peddlers caught: Police have arrested two Asians for trafficking in alcohol and another Asian for violating residence law in Abdullah Port area, reports Al-Rai daily.
Police also recovered seven bottles of alcohol from the traffickers and referred all three of them to authorities.
Boy, girl fighting: Police arrested an unidentified youth and his girlfriend who were allegedly fighting on a street in Sabahiya area, reports Al-Rai daily.
On receiving information about the fight, securitymen rushed to the scene, separated the warring parties and referred them to police station. The cause of the fight is not known.
Duo doing drugs: Two Egyptian expatriates were arrested for consuming drugs in Farwaniya area, reports Al-Mustaqbal daily.
Patrol officers on routine duty arrested the suspects and referred them to authorities.
