Egyptian, two Bangladeshis hurt in fight ‘Lost’ car found with army man
KUWAIT CITY, Jan 24: An Egyptian man and two Bangladeshis have been admitted to the Farwaniya Hospital for treatment. The men were injured following a fight between two groups of people — Egyptians and Bangladeshis.
Some of the fighters who were arrested by police have been referred to the area police station for interrogation.
‘Lost’ car found: When a Kuwaiti woman filed a complaint with the Hawalli police accusing an unidentified person of stealing her vehicle; she later called the same police to say she had found the car in a nearby parking lot.
However, when police went to lift the fingerprints they found the jacket of a military man with his nameplate on it.
The suspect has been arrested and detained for interrogation.
Youths held with guns: Two unidentified youths have been arrested by police for possessing four unlicensed hunting guns, drug pills and a quantity of hashish.
The suspects were arrested by a police patrol on routine duty around the Amghara Scrapyard.
According to security sources police suspected the men because they looked confused when they saw a police car.
When police checked their IDs, it was found they were wanted by law in connection with civil cases.
No car in morning: An unidentified expatriate has filed a complaint with the Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh Police Station accusing ‘someone’ of stealing his car.
In his complaint the man said the car was parked in front of his house in the area.
He also told police he discovered the theft when he was about to leave for work in the morning.
The description of the car has been circulated to all police patrols.
