Asian found running liquor factory in Al-Wafra farms Coal fumes kill Kuwaiti camping alone

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 23: An Asian man was arrested in Al-Wafra for manufacturing and selling local alcohol.
While patrolling the area, a team of police officers approached the Asian for routine inspection. When the officers checked the bag he was carrying, they found a bottle of local alcohol inside. The officers then asked him about the source of the alcohol and he admitted that he produces and sells the forbidden item.
After the preliminary investigations, the Asian guided police to his apartment where they found thousands of bottles of local alcohol ready for sale and the equipment used for manufacturing liquor. He was referred to the concerned security department for the necessary legal action.

Fumes kill Kuwaiti: A Kuwaiti man, believed to be in his 40s, died after inhaling fumes emanating from burning charcoal in his tent in Salmi, reports Al-Rai daily.
The man was camping and his sons got worried when he didn’t answer their phone calls. So, they went to the camp and found the man lying motionless. They then called paramedics who examined the man and declared him dead.

‘5-star’ camp robbed:
Police are looking for thieves who broke into a well-furnished ‘5-star’ camp of a Kuwaiti man, tied up the Asian guard and escaped with several expensive items, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The Kuwaiti had filed a complaint at Abdullah Port Police Station. Personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department lifted fingerprints from the scene to identify the culprits.
In another incident, Ahmadi police arrested four Asians for robbing from camps in Abdullah Port area, reports Al-Rai daily.
Police intensified investigations after receiving several complaints from campers and caught an Asian in possession of several stolen items. The Asian guided police to three other compatriot partners, said sources, adding police arrested and referred them all to authorities.
