Egyptian trio held for forging, selling ‘fit’ health certificates

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 22: Securitymen from the Immigration General Department arrested three Egyptians for forging 100 health certificates and referred them to authorities, reports Al-Qabas daily.
The Egyptians, who worked in a private security company, issued forged ‘Fit’ certificates by using stamps of Kuwait Municipality and charged KD 300 for each certificate.
The forgers were put under surveillance for one week and were caught red-handed. The forgers guided police to some expatriates who secured jobs in restaurants on the basis of such certificates.

Infiltrator sought: Police are looking for an unidentified person who reportedly infiltrated into the country and hid in Kuwait-Saudi Arabia joint oil installations area, reports Al-Shahed daily.
The Interior Ministry opened investigation into the issue after police found footsteps of the infiltrator. Sources said personnel at the Southern borders will be accounted for their negligence.

16 people arrested: Farwaniya police arrested 16 expatriates for violating residence law during a comprehensive campaign in the area and referred them to authorities, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily. Some of these people were wanted for financial crimes.
Police also arrested 13 expatriates - seven Bangladeshis, three Egyptians and three Indians- for not holding identification documents and sources say most of them were wanted for their involvement in financial crimes.
