KUWAIT CITY, Jan 22: A Kuwaiti citizen lodged a complaint against his housemaid for stealing KD 10,000 from a room inside his residence at Adan.
The citizen narrated he had gone to the maid’s room to inquire about the money after discovering it was missing. It was then he noticed the maid had run away. A case was registered to trace her.

Liquor seized: Patrolmen nabbed a youth in possession of two bottles of liquor in Ahmadi area.
According to sources, the youth aroused suspicion of policemen when suddenly he became jittery as they asked him to stop for checking. This prompted the officers to conduct a search in his car, where the contraband was found. The suspect was referred to the concerned authority without delay.

Expat abuses officer:  An Arab expatriate who abused a traffic officer on duty was taken into custody.
Sources said the culprit became incensed and started abusing the officer after he had issued a traffic citation against him. The man was later arrested and referred to Salhiya police station, and a case was registered against him.

Car broken into: An Iranian expatriate reported to officers in Salhiya area police station that an unknown person smashed the glass of his vehicle and stole a mobile phone. A case was registered for investigation.
Meanwhile, three different people filed a similar complaint saying an unidentified person had broken into their respective vehicles and stole mobile phones plus wallets. Criminal Evidences Men have since lifted fingerprints from their vehicles to trail the thief.
