KUWAIT CITY, Jan 21: A Kuwaiti man, in his 30s, was found dead in his apartment in Salmiya under mysterious circumstances.
Security officers rushed to the location immediately after the Operations Room received a call from one of the victim’s neighbors reporting about the foul odor emanating from the apartment. When the officers arrived at the scene, they discovered the man’s body, which was taken to Forensics for autopsy. 
A case was registered and investigations are underway to unravel the mystery behind the man’s death.

Woman steals jewelry: A jeweler accused an Asian woman customer of stealing jewelries from his shop in Salhiya area.
Sources said the man reported the incident to officers in Salhiya area police station, and a case was registered for investigation.

2 held with drugs: Security operatives attached to Farwaniya Rescue Patrol arrested two youths in possession of 40 narcotic pills in Riggae. The suspects were referred to the concerned authority for prosecution.

Egyptian stabbed: An Egyptian expatriate was stabbed and severely wounded in the back during a public fight in Dhajeej, Farwaniya area.
Apparently, the feuding parties had a misunderstanding and it degenerated into exchange of words and physical combat, in the course of which the Egyptian was stabbed. Acting on information, securitymen and paramedics rushed to the scene, and the injured person was referred to the Farwaniya Hospital while police detained the other party for investigation.
In another incident, an Egyptian sustained fractures and bruises in different parts of the body when he engaged another person in a fight at a popular shopping mall in Ahmadi area. Paramedics carried the injured man to Al-Adan Hospital for medical attention.
