KUWAIT CITY, Jan 21: The Kuwait University has announced a rise of KD 100 as social bonus for students to become KD 200 which will be paid at end of next April, retroactive from December 2011, which means each student will receive KD 600, reports Al-Seyassah daily.
The Dean of Student Affairs Dr Abdul Rahim Diab said in a statement the university has received a letter from the Ministry of Finance to enhance the budget of the remuneration to cover the amount of the increase.
He pointed out the University has made all preparations for the disbursement of KD 200 allowance by the end of next April.
