Thieves decamp with 55 mobile phones, five cameras, KD 4,330 Jewellery worth KD 650 stolen from home

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 20: Thieves broke into a cell phone shop in Mangaf and escaped with 55 mobile phones, KD 4,330 cash and five cameras, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The owner told police that he found the doors of the shop broken when he came in the morning. Criminal Evidence Department officials lifted fingerprints from the scene to identify the culprits.

Jewellery stolen: An Iranian woman filed a complaint at Salmiya Police Station, saying an unidentified person entered her apartment while she was asleep and stole a bag containing jewelry worth KD 650, one iPhone and another ordinary phone, reports Al-Anba daily.
In a separate case, an Iranian tailor filed a complaint at Nugra Police Station, saying thieves broke into his shop and stole KD 100.
Police are investigating both cases.

Candidate’s sheep stolen: Police have arrested an Arab man for stealing 11 sheep from the campaign headquarters of a Second Constituency candidate, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The candidate had earlier reported the theft of sheep from his place in Sulaibiya at Sulaibikhat Police Station and investigations revealed that the candidate’s employee — an Arab man — had stolen the sheep.

Valuables stolen from camp: A Kuwaiti lodged a complaint against an unidentified person who allegedly stole valuable items from his camp in Julaia.
The complainant told police he was surprised to see several items missing when he visited his camp. Fingerprints were lifted to identify the culprits.
