Visa cancellation - leaving Kuwait

I have been working in Kuwait for 1 year and 3 months now and will be going back to my country on Feb 3, 2012. I really don’t know what to do. My visa will expire on Feb 8, 2012 and I will be leaving on Feb 3, 2012, 5 days before my visa expires. My visa has not been cancelled. The ‘Mandoub’ of the company said that it is not necessary to cancel it for I can still change my mind and come back again. So far, I have no plans of coming back. Is it OK if I exit on Feb 3, 5 days before my visa expires even without any cancellation of my visa? I am in a dilemma because I don’t want to encounter any problem at the immigration before my flight.

Answer: No, you won’t have any problems although the officer at the counter will point out to you that you have 5 days left. He can’t stop you from leaving. But your ‘Mandoub’ (office representative) is wrong. You won’t be allowed to  enter the country once your residence expires until the current residence is cancelled because cancellation of a work permit is a must to get a new residence.

Arrange new visa, do medical embassy stamping again in home country, then re-enter again. nothing to worry. you can leave kuwait. New company cannot apply for new visa, till old company cancel your old work permit in shoun. thats all. you are free bird to fly
