Baked chicken in cream
Ingredients:
- 1 cup flour;
- 1-1/2 tsp salt;
- dash pepper;
- 1/4 tsp garlic salt;
- 1 chicken, cut up;
- 1 stick butter or margarine;
- 1 qt. half and half
Method:
Combine flour with seasonings; coat chicken with mixture. In skillet, melt butter or margarine. Fry chicken pieces until golden. Place in 9 x 13-inch baking pan. Stir remaining flour mixture into butter or margarine in skillet; stir until smooth. Add half and cook, stirring constantly, until slightly thickened. Pour over chicken in pan. Place in preheated 350 degree oven and cook for 1 hour or until done.
