Two youths molest girl in mall
KUWAIT CITY, Jan 13: Police are looking for two unidentified youths for molesting a girl in a commercial complex, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The girl, in her complaint, said she was on her way to the parking lot when the youths followed her and molested her.
The description of the youths has been circulated to all checkpoints.
Kuwaiti booze dealer: Police have arrested an unidentified Kuwaiti man for allegedly trafficking in booze.
Security sources said police suspected the bootlegger who was driving along a road in Salmiya. When police asked the man to pull over he tried in vain to escape.
Police forced the man to pull over and found in his vehicle six bottles of alcohol. The man and the booze have been referred to the concerned authorities.
Meanwhile, the Farwaniya police have arrested an unidentified person for drinking alcohol, possessing a bottle of booze and resisting arrest.
According to security sources the man was stopped by a police patrol while walking along a road in Farwaniya. It has been reported he initially tried in vain to escape on foot but when police overpowered and arrested him he tried to attack the police.
He has been handed over to the Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh Police Station.
Hashish, drug pills found: Police have arrested two Kuwaitis for possessing drugs, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The daily quoting security sources said the suspects were caught by a police patrol in the vicinity of the Doha Port.
It has been reported police saw a car parked by the side of the road and as they drove in the direction of the car, the suspects got out of the vehicle and began to run.
Police chased the suspects and dragged them back to the car. Then they searched the car and found some quantity of hashish and 60 drug pills.
Mobile phones stolen: Police are looking for five unidentified men who broke into a camp in Abdullah Port area, assaulted a Kuwaiti man and stole his mobile phone before escaping, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The Kuwaiti had lodged a complaint and had provided the suspects’ description to police.
In a separate incident, thieves broke into an Indian expatriate’s car and stole his mobile phone. The car was parked in front of the expatriate’s building.
Arab expats fight in Khaitan: A fight broke out among six Arab expatriates in the flat they share in Khaitan area and sources say they beat one another with batons, reports Al-Rai daily.
The fight reportedly broke out as the flat was partitioned in such a way that only five occupants could live instead of six.
Acting on information, police rushed to the scene and controlled the fight. A case was registered at Khaitan Police Station.
Pregnant woman injured: An unidentified Egyptian man, his pregnant wife and their child have been admitted to the Jahra Hospital with fractures, reports Al-Watan
