Bedoun arrested selling exam question papers for KD 30 each

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 13: Jahra securitymen arrested a Bedoun for leaking exam question papers, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily. The Bedoun was reportedly charging KD 30 per copy from intermediate and secondary school students.
Police patrols on routine duty noticed a large number of teenagers waiting near a car parked in the parking lot of a cooperative society and went nearer to check. Sources say the suspect tried to escape in his car, but police chased and arrested him.
On checking records, police realized that the Bedoun was earlier sentenced to two months’ imprisonment for issuing dud cheques.  Police also found question papers for intermediate and secondary grades in his vehicle. During interrogation, the Bedoun said he obtained the question papers from his sources in the Ministry of Education.

Cigarettes with hashish found: Police have arrested an unidentified person for possessing drugs.
The man was arrested while driving at a late hour in Salmiya. Police ordered the man to pull over and checked a bag in his vehicle and found six cigarettes filled with hashish.
The cigarettes and the suspect have been referred to the General Department for Drugs Control.

Municipality books 66: A team from Ahmadi Municipality issued 66 citations during a surprise inspection campaign at the Sabahiya Cooperative Society and its branches to check the validity of food commodities, reports Al-Seyassah daily.
The Director of Ahmadi Municipality Engineer Fahad Al-Otaibi affirmed that the main goal of the campaign was not to issue citations but ensuring the safety and health of consumers, and activating the role of the municipality at the markets and shops.
