Two expats ‘lose’ cars in Khaitan; Wife harassed Youth sought for beating mother
KUWAIT CITY, Jan 12: Two expatriates have filed two separate cases with the Khaitan Police Station accusing unidentified persons of stealing their vehicles which were parked in front of their respective homes.
Both men said they discovered the theft when they were getting ready to go to work.
Description of the cars has been circulated at all exit points and to police patrols.
Youth beats mom: Police are looking for an unidentified youth for allegedly beating his mother. The incident happened in Farwaniya.
When the mother called Operations Department of the Ministry of Interior, police rushed to the spot but failed to find the culprit.
A case has been registered at the Farwaniya Police Station.
Duo arrested: The Jahra police have arrested two unidentified youths who were wanted by law in connection with criminal and civil cases.
The youths were arrested on suspicion and police records show they had been sentenced in absentia by courts in Kuwait.
They have been handed over to the Sentences Enforcement Department.
‘Peace-wreckers’ held: The Jahra police during a security crackdown in the Jahra Governorate are said to have arrested three Kuwaitis for causing inconvenience to shoppers in front of the Qairawan Cooperative Society.
The police have also arrested seven reckless motorists and impounded their cars. According to security sources security campaigns will continue until the phenomenon of reckless driving ends.
Meanwhile, police have arrested two unidentified men for allegedly harassing passersby. The men were reportedly sitting in a café in Salmiya and verbally abusing some passersby.
When police acting on information rushed to the spot, they found the men were under the influence of alcohol. They have been referred to the concerned authorities.
Wife harassed: Police have arrested an unidentified youth for allegedly beating a police officer on duty.
This happened when the officer was reportedly harassing his wife when she was at work. A case has been registered at a police station in the Capital governorate.
