KUWAIT CITY, Jan 11: A 16-year old citizen died after a 12-year old compatriot stabbed him in the chest during a quarrel in Saad Al-Abdullah area.
Sources said the deceased had been rushed to a hospital by his parents and was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit when neighbors came knocking on their door to inform them after the incident. Later, doctors declared the victim dead and the corpse was referred to Forensics.
In the meantime, security operatives rushed to the crime scene where the murder weapon was recovered, and Forensics identified the murderer as a 12-year-old neighbor who later confessed to stabbing the victim in a quarrel, yet he claimed there was intention of killing the victim. The suspect has since been referred to the concerned authority.

Asian drug peddler arrested: An Asian expatriate was apprehended by anti-narcotics personnel for peddling in drugs, with capsules of heroin weighing 4kg in his possession.
According to an Interior Ministry press release, the arrest follows information the Drug Control General Department received about smuggling activities the suspect pulled off with a Kuwaiti citizen, and after a month of intensive surveillance, he was nabbed inside his Jleeb Shuyoukh apartment.
The suspect who resisted arrest when the contraband was discovered at his accommodation later confessed to consuming and peddling in drugs. He also said that truck drivers supplied the contraband. He was referred to Drug Prosecution.
