KUWAIT CITY, Jan 1: Securitymen arrested 75 young men and women for indulging in immoral activities, for violating law and   consuming alcohol during an intense security campaign launched in Ahmadi and Hawalli governorates on Saturday during the New Year celebrations.
Sources said securitymen raided several camps in Ahmadi area and some flats in Hawalli during the campaign.
Traffic police had issued hundreds of citations to traffic law violators in Salmiya and Hawalli areas and on Arabian Gulf Street where large number of youths danced to music blaring from their vehicles.
Assistant Undersecretary for Criminal Evidences Department Major General Ahmad Al-Khalifa had prepared the security plan.
