Heroin, ‘pills’ found on 2 Asians

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 28: Two Asians were apprehended by anti-narcotics men for peddling in drugs, following information the Assistant Undersecretary for Criminal Security Affairs in the Ministry of Interior Major General Ahmad Al-Khalifa Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah received about their activities.
Security sources said the first suspect was nabbed after selling a gram of heroin to an undercover officer affiliated to the Directorate General of Drug Control. Later, the suspect is said to have led security operatives to his home where an additional 200 grams of the contraband plus 2,000 narcotic pills were found. He went on to name his accomplice whose house was also raided by the police and additional 1,000 pills were recovered. The two culprits have since been referred to drug prosecution.
