KUWAIT CITY, Dec 28: The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor Mohammed Al-Kandari has said that the ministry has opened the transfer window to transfer visit visas into work permits for government contracts only, reports Al-Horriya daily.

He also added the ministry will soon finalize the proposed Workforce Public Authority since the draft law has been submitted to the National Assembly for approval.

In other news the Al-Jaridah daily said, Eqbal Al-Rumaideen, Director of Women and Infantry Department at the ministry, has disclosed that the ministry will receive applications to build private kindergartens next month.

Bases on instructions given by Al-Kandari, she said the law to renew the private kindergartens has been modified to allow the owners to renew every two years instead of one year.
Speaking to the press on the sidelines of the training course which has been organized by the department in association with the National Union for Family Security said the course is part of the government program.

Chairperson of National Union for Family Security Dr Khadeeja Al-Mohamed stressed it is time to ask lawmakers about the social security legislations and the role played by the concerned authorities in the civil society.

She showed some images of malpractices committed by some domestic workers against children during the absence of parents.
