Church trespassed - Priest insulted
KUWAIT CITY, Dec 27: : Priest Emmanuel of the National Evangelical Church Kuwait has filed a complaint with the Salhiya Police Station accusing two unidentified men of trespassing into the church compound and taking pictures, reports Al-Anba daily.
In his complaint the priest said the men were wearing dishdashas and when he intervened and asked them the reason for taking pictures, they verbally insulted him and escaped.
Police are looking for the suspects.
Girl molested: An elderly man has been arrested by the police for allegedly molesting a 12-year-old girl, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
This happened inside a movie theater. According to a complaint filed with the police, the victim was sitting next to the man and he allegedly put his hand on her thigh.
The girl informed her elder sister and the latter called the police. Police interrogations are continuing.
Car broken into: A Kuwaiti woman, whose identity has not been disclosed, has filed a complaint with the police accusing unidentified persons of breaking into her car and stealing money - 500 Saudi riyals and 20 Bahraini dinars in addition to official documents, reports Al-Anba daily.
The victim said her car was parked outside the Central Prison. Personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department have lifted fingerprints to identify the thief.
Officer abused: An officer on duty has filed a complaint with the police accusing an unidentified Kuwaiti woman of verbally abusing him, reports Al-Rai daily.
The daily added the incident happened at a check point. The woman was in the company of a member of the ruling family and when the officer asked her to show the ID, she not only refused she insulted the officer. The woman will be summoned for interrogation.
