KUWAIT CITY, Dec 27: A drunken motorist in the company of an Arab girl was arrested by police with a bottle of liquor in his possession.
Sources said the officers had noticed the erratic manner by which the suspect’s car was moving and ordered him to stop for checking. Police discovered he was highly intoxicated since he smelt of alcohol, and went ahead to conduct a search inside the car, where a bottle of gin was found. The suspect with the lady companion has since been referred to the relevant authority.

KD 60,000 stolen: Owner of a company told officers in Al-Rai area police station about KD 60,000 that was stolen from his establishment.
The man narrated that workers at the company notified him that thieves broke the door open to steal the aforementioned amount. Fingerprints were lifted from the scene to arrest the suspects.

Drug peddler held: An Asian expatriate was arrested by security operatives in Hawalli for trafficking in drugs and referred to the relevant authority after he had been caught red-handed in drug trade.

Maid steals cash: A Kuwaiti citizen accused his housemaid of stealing KD 1,000 cash from a safe in his house at Qairawan. A case was registered for investigation to arrest the maid.
