KUWAIT CITY, Dec 27: The government has reportedly approved a proposal on hiking salaries of public and private sector employees who did not benefit from the recent pay scale revision, reports Al-Mustaqbal daily. Pensioners are also expected to receive the increment which will range between KD 100 and KD 200.
“The government has divided employees in various categories. Employees receiving salaries between KD 600-800 will be granted KD 200 rise, while those with salaries below 800 and KD 1,000 will receive a KD 150 increment. Those earning more than KD 1,000 will receive KD 100 increment,” said a source.
The source pointed out that the increment will be granted to all employees in the government and private sectors and added that no pay revision proposals will be entertained after this hike.
