Kuwaiti stabs, kills compatriot over old dispute in Sabahiya Bus driver held for running over, killing Egyptian man
KUWAIT CITY, Dec 24: A 37-year-old Kuwaiti man was brutally murdered in Sabahiya area by a 27-year-old compatriot who turned himself in.
The culprit reportedly went to the victim’s house and stabbed the latter savagely over a previous dispute between the two. He then left the scene of crime and went directly to the General Department of Criminal Investigations where he handed himself over and the murder weapon. The police has filed a case for further investigation.
Bus driver held: The remains of an unidentified Egyptian man who died on the spot after he was run over by an unidentified Indian bus driver, have been referred to Forensics, reports Al-Shahed daily.
The mishap happened on the Tunis Street in Hawalli. According to an Egyptian eyewitness the bus hit the man and drove off. When police and paramedics rushed to the spot when someone informed the Operations Department of the Ministry of Interior, the eyewitness gave the description of the bus and the plate number.
The driver has been arrested and detained for interrogation. The victim was reportedly run over when he was crossing a road.
