Personnel from Drug Control General Department apprehended an Asian expatriate in Kabad area for the possession of 1,300 bottles of imported liquor.
This follows a tip-off the Assistant Undersecretary for Criminal Security Affairs Major General-Ahmad Al-Abdullah Al-Khalifa Al-Sabah received about his activities.
Armed with search and arrest warrant from the Public Prosecution, security operatives are said to have nabbed the Asian in Kabad area, with the contraband in his keep. He named his accomplice who also happens to be of Asian origin. Investigation is in progress to arrest the second suspect.
