KUWAIT CITY, Dec 21: A drunken youth is said to have parked his car at the roadside and severely beaten two female compatriots in his company.
Apparently, the youth visited a flat in Salmiya area with the girls and were on their way to another area when they started to quarrel; hence the drunken youth parked his car by the road and beat the girls.
A passerby had notified the Operations Room of the incident and patrolmen rushed to the location. All three people were arrested and taken to the concerned authority for further investigation.

Citizen nabbed: A Kuwaiti citizen involved in a KD 5,000 financial case was arrested by security operatives at a checkpoint when he tried to run away on foot. He has since been referred to the relevant authority for necessary action.

Phone shop looted: Thieves raided a shop for selling mobile phones in Jahra area and stole items worth KD 3,000. Workers at the shop filed a report with policemen in Jahra area, narrating they were surprised as they arrived at the shop early morning and discovered the door had been broke open. Moreover, they discovered the loss after checking inside the place. A case was registered for investigation.

Drunk brother: A Kuwaiti citizen handed over his brother to security operatives in Jahra police station for consuming alcohol.
In his complaint, the citizen said he was fed up with his brother who always came home late at night, heavily intoxicated. A case was registered against the culprit. He was later referred to the concerned authority for further investigation.

Asian stabbed: Securitymen on patrol in Maidan Hawalli apprehended an Egyptian who stabbed an Asian expatriate in a fight and tried to run away.
Sources said the officers called an ambulance to carry the injured Asian to the Mubarak Hospital for medical attention. A case was registered.
