Two youths lost their lives when the car they were riding in skidded and crashed into a a palm tree. The car caught fire on impact and the youths unable to escape were burnt to death.
Bedoun duo charred to death as car skids, burns in tree hit I’m pregnant: maid
KUWAIT CITY, Dec 20: A 16-year-old Kuwaiti citizen was among two other Bedoun youths who died in recent traffic accidents across the nation, in which many other people were also injured.
The two Bedouns were charred to death after their vehicle skidded off the road and crashed into a palm tree along the Arabian Gulf Street, opposite Shuwaikh area. Sources said the deceased were trapped inside their vehicle that caught fire due to the impact, whereas firemen tried in vain to save them and after immense effort they managed to cut the wreckage. The remains have since been deposited to Forensics.
Meanwhile, a Kuwaiti juvenile succumbed to severe injuries when two vehicles collided in Shuaiba area and one of the vehicles turned turtle. Sources said the citizen had died before rescue teams arrived at the scene. The corpse was taken to Forensics.
A GCC expatriate suffered internal bleeding and was referred to Al-Jahra Hospital by paramedics in critical condition after his car overturned on the Salmi Motorway.
In another incident, a youth was injured in different places of the body as his car collided with another car in Jahra area. Paramedics helped the injured motorist to Jahra Hospital for medical attention.
In yet another incident, a Kuwaiti citizen sustained a fracture to his right leg during an accident on the King Fahad Expressway. Paramedics rushed to the scene and carried the injured citizen to the Adan Hospital after the Operations Room had been notified of the accident.
And, a 32-year-old Kuwaiti lady with an Egyptian expatriate suffered various degrees of injuries in a two-car collision accident on Ghoss Street. They injured people were taken to the Adan Hospital by paramedics.
I’m pregnant: maid: An African housemaid with her lover was handed over to the concerned security authority after confessing she was two months pregnant from an Asian man working at a grocery store.
Apparently, the maid and her sponsor were on their way to Al-Jahra Hospital for medical checkup due to fatigue and morning sickness she was suffering of late when she admitted having intimate relationship with the Asian and becoming pregnant.
