Two maids, Indian, Syrian perish in various mishaps

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 19: The remains of an unidentified Asian maid who allegedly committed suicide inside her sponsor’s home have been referred to Forensics, reports Al-Rai daily.
The daily quoting security sources said the incident happened in Ishbiliya. According to the sponsor the maid closed the bedroom door and locked it from inside. When he called her to open the door and she did not respond, he told police he forced open the door and found the corpse dangling from a rope.
The sponsor also told police the maid was suffering from psychological problems.

Indian run over: The remains of an unidentified Indian man who was run over by a motorist while crossing a road in Mangaf have been referred to Forensics, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The daily quoting security sources said when the Operations Department of the Ministry of Interior received a report on the incident, paramedics and police rushed to the spot and did the needful. The daily did not say if the motorist has been arrested or not.

Maid dies on road: A 36-year-old Asian maid died on the spot and a Kuwaiti woman and her four children sustained injuries when the car they were riding in overturned on the Seventh Ring Road, reports Al-Anba daily.
According to security sources the Kuwaiti woman was behind the wheel when the mishap happened.
The daily did not give details of the accident. All the injured have been referred to a hospital.

Cab driver killed: A Syrian taxi driver died and a Kuwaiti man sustained serious injuries following a traffic accident at an unidentified location, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The Kuwaiti has been admitted to the intensive care unit of the Al-Sabah Hospital. The remains of the Syrian have been referred to Forensics.
The cause of the accident is not known.
