Cafe in Salmiya caught showing sex movies
KUWAIT CITY, Dec 18: Police have taken into custody the owner of an unidentified popular café in Salmiya for showing porno films to his customers, reports Al-Shahed daily.
The daily quoting security sources said police acting on a tip-off raided the café and caught the owner red-handed.
During interrogation the man admitted to the charge and said he did this not to lose customers.
He has been referred to the concerned authorities.
Airport cash box hit: Police are looking for an unidentified person who stole KD 600 from Kuwait Airways’ cash box at the Kuwait International Airport, reports Al-Rai daily.
An employee of the airways filed a complaint at Jleeb Police Station, saying another employee who was in charge of checking weight and collecting money for excess baggage noticed the disappearance of KD 600 from the cash box and notified his higher ups.
Investigations are going on and securitymen will check the footage of surveillance cameras installed in the place to identify the thief.
Trio held for stealing: Personnel from the Criminal Investigation Department have arrested three unidentified Kuwaiti youths for attempting to steal motorbikes from a showroom in Shuwaikh, reports Al-Anba daily.
According to security sources the suspects were caught red-handed by a police patrol. The daily added when the suspects saw the police driving in their direction they escaped. Police chased and arrested two of the youths while the third managed to escape. He was caught later based on information provided by the accomplices. They have been referred to the concerned authorities.
Cash, passports stolen: Police are looking for an unidentified person for breaking into the car of an expatriate and stealing KD 500 and passports, reports Al-Rai daily.
In his complaint to the police the victim said the theft occurred when his car was parked in front of his home in Jabriya.
Personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department have lifted fingerprints.
