KUWAIT CITY, Dec 18: Labor Departments of the Social Affairs Ministry on Sunday commenced the transfer of commercial visas to work permits for citizens of 40 countries, reports Al-Watan Arab Daily.

Sources disclosed a ministerial decree was issued in respect of the matter and circulated to all labor departments in all 6 governorates. He pointed out the ministry started transferring commercial visas for Americans, Europeans and Japanese citizens right from the beginning of the month, and that such steps are aimed at easing pressures and processes for private companies with executing government contracts and projects.
