Maid steals KD 500
KUWAIT CITY, Dec 16: A 40-year old citizen filed a case with policemen in Sabah Al-Nasser area and reported his housemaid stole KD 500 and fled from home.
According to the citizen, the maid had broken his bedroom door open, stole the amount, and escaped. A case has since been registered against her.
KD 450 stolen from home: Thieves raided a flat in Hawalli area and made away with KD 450 cash and mobile phones. Owner of the flat told policemen he was surprised when he returned home and discovered the door had been broke open, so he conducted a check inside the flat and noticed the aforementioned items were missing.
In the meantime, Criminal Evidences personnel rushed to the scene and lifted fingerprints to trail the suspects. A case was registered.
Drugs found on motorist: A motorist was nabbed by Ahmadi policemen, with narcotics in his keep, after noticing erratic manner by which his car was moving and they asked him to stop for checking. He was referred to drug prosecution.
3 stuntsmen nabbed: Three Jor-danian youths were apprehended by three patrol teams for reckless driving as they were caught hassling many residents in Hawalli area.
The arrest follows several reports the Operations Room received that some youths in the area were performing stunts with a vehicle and disturbing residents.
During investigation, policemen uncovered one of them was wanted for various criminal offenses and vehicle they were using for stunts had been rented from a car leasing office in the same area.
20 liquor bottles seized: An Asian expatriate was caught in possession of 20 bottles of liquor at a security checkpoint in Khaitan area. He was referred to the relevant authority for further investigation.
Son accused of theft: A Kuwaiti woman reported to policemen in Sulaibikhat area that her son broke into her home and stole pieces of gold from a safe.
The woman also said her son is wanted for criminal offenses and has a case at the Civil Executive Court.
She provided police with his details which have since been circulated to various checkpoints for his arrest.
Murder not ruled out: The Umm Al-Haiman clinic has referred the remains of an unidentified 13-year-old girl to Forensics to identify the cause death, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
According to reports the victim’s father came to the clinic carrying his daughter and claimed she was unwell.
However, a doctor at the clinic examined the girl and found she was already dead. The doctor also noticed signs of violence on her neck and there were blue and black marks all over her body.
Police have not ruled out murder.
Women, men summoned: The Ahmadi Prosecutor has summoned six people - two men and four women - for interrogation following a brawl inside a house in Qurain, reports Al-Anba daily.
According to the daily two women, both Kuwaitis had gone to the house to meet their friends. As the four women were discussing some issues, the two men barged in and beat the two sisters.
The sisters have submitted medical reports to the Al-Qurain Police Station showing bruises on their body.
The daily added the women were beaten in mysterious circumstances. However, the Public Prosecutor has asked to establish the relationship between the sisters and the women they visited.
