Medical report found on dead body dumped on road
KUWAIT CITY, Dec 13: The remains of an unidentified person which were found on a road between West Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh and Al-Shaddadiya University have been referred to Forensics to identify the cause of death, reports Al-Rai daily.
The daily quoting security sources said the corpse was found by an Arab passerby and he informed the Operations Department of the Interior Ministry.
According to reports paramedics found on the man’s body a document issued by the Farwaniya Hospital. The contents of the document are not known.
Iron ‘kingpin’ nabbed: The Jahra police have arrested the head of a gang of Asians which specialized in stealing iron rods from projects under construction from the Capital governorate, reports Alam Alyawm daily.
A police patrol on routine duty in Amghara suspected a bus. When police ordered the driver to pull over, four occupants of the vehicle got out and ran away. Police chased and arrested one of them who turned out to be the head of the gang.
Police have reportedly seized from the bus one ton of stolen iron rods.
Drug peddler caught: Police have arrested an Asian man for trafficking in drugs, reports Al-Rai daily.
The daily quoting security sources said police acting on a tip-off put the suspect under surveillance for some time and then armed with a search and arrest warrant issued by the Public Prosecution raided his home in Fahaheel and caught him in possession of 30 grams of heroin and 10 grams of cocaine.
He has been handed over to the General Department for Drugs Control.
Confused mechanic: A Kuwaiti man in his 50s has filed a complaint with the Sharq Police Station accusing an Indian garage employee, believed to be in his 30s, of damaging his car, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The complainant said he requested the Indian to change oil and add coolant into car radiator. However, he was shocked when the car stopped working.
He later discovered the Indian had put the coolant in the engine and the oil in the radiator.
The Syrian owner of the garage is said to have apologized and said the Indian has no knowledge about changing oil.
