Teenage boy admits stabbing, killing GCC national
KUWAIT CITY, Dec 8: A 15-year-old boy has admitted stabbing twice a GCC national, who got killed recently when two families got involved in a fistfight in Oyoun due to earlier disputes between the children.
During interrogations, the boy revealed he went out of the house after hearing the commotion outside and then he saw the victim, who carrying a weapon, trying to attack his father and brothers. This has prompted him to stab the victim twice to save his father and brothers but he had no intention to kill him.
Investigations are still ongoing and police are waiting for the condition of those confined at the Jahra Hospital to get better before questioning them to shed light on the case.
5 hurt in gang fight: Police have arrested an unidentified number of youths who were involved in a fight in Riqqa, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to reports police acting on information that a group of about 30 youths were involved in a fight rushed to the location in the area and arrested some of the youths while some managed to escape.
The daily added five youths were seriously injured. Eyewitnesses said the youths were fighting with swords and batons. They have been admitted to the Adan Hospital for treatment.
When some of the youths were taken to the Rehab Police Station a group of youths gathered outside the police station to continue their fight.
However, police controlled the situation before it went out of control. Police investigations are continuing.
