KUWAIT CITY, Dec 7: Police have taken into custody an unidentified youth for breaking into the home of a Kuwaiti man in Jahra and stealing a laptop and cell phone of his daughter, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to reports when the theft occurred, the father informed the Operations Department of the Ministry of Interior and police investigations showed the thief had not stolen anything precious but only the laptop and the cell phone of his daughter.
However, the police doubted the story and began their investigations into the incident.
During interrogation the police discovered the youth was friendly to the man’s daughter and when the latter broke all contacts with him and refused to answer his calls, he became angry and promised to teach her a lesson.
He allegedly jumped over the fence and got into the home after ascertaining she was home alone, beat the girl and escaped with her cell phone and laptop computer.
When the police asked the lover why he stole the phone, he said he wanted to know if she was in love with someone else.

Filipina escapes rape: The Hawalli police are looking for an unidentified person for attempting to break into the apartment of a Filipino woman with the intention to rape her, reports Al-Anba daily.
The incident happened in Maidan Hawalli. The victim was reportedly alone in her apartment and the suspect wearing clothes of a technician knocked on the door.
When the woman opened the door, he claimed the building caretaker had sent him for repairs. After entering the apartment the man tried to remove the clothes of the woman and when she screamed for help, he panicked and escaped. The caretaker of the building has been summoned for interrogation.

‘Please let him go’: When an unidentified Kuwaiti man alerted the Operations Department of the Ministry of Interior that he heard screams for help from an unidentified woman from inside an apartment, police rushed to the spot and arrested the culprit, reports Al-Rai daily.
When police took the man into custody, the woman who had allegedly run away from her home due to misunderstandings with the family and was staying with her boyfriend inside an apartment in Salmiya pleaded with the police not to file a complaint against him.
However, the issue was solved amicably and the young man signed a pledge of good conduct.

Rookies in love: Police have arrested an unidentified Kuwaiti youth and two young women, who had reportedly gone out with the youth for the first time, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to reports the suspects were arrested by a police patrol on duty while driving along the Arabian Gulf Road.
It has been reported when the car stopped at a traffic light, the women looked panicky and the youth behind the wheel tried in vain to escape from police.
The police chased and arrested the youth and referred the teenagers to the police station to know the motive of going out with the young man.
